The Crew Chef plays a vital role onboard a superyacht. The crew chefs work long hours to ensure that the captain and crew are well fed whilst onboard.
The Crew Chefs also assist the sous or 2nd chefs and the head chef with any mise en place or with plating, garnishing, starters, salads or specific dishes when required.
Super Yacht Chefs get to work with the finest, freshest and highest quality produce from around the globe. Even the crew get a choice at meal times and the crew chef must also be able to cater for the varied dietary needs of the captain and crew.
The Super Yacht Crew/Sous/2nd Chef is expected to create mouth-watering dishes and must have a varied and diverse knowledge of global cuisines to keep mealtimes special for the crew.
